ABOUT

Set amidst vineyards, Domaine du Cayrat is a wine producing estate built in the 19th century nearby the town of Pézenas. Jacques and Monique de Bary restored the family property and converted the different buildings around the large central courtyard into nice villas with individual external little garden. A nice 18th century chapel is overlooking the courtyard making this place quite unique.

The swimming pool located at the entrance surrounded with grass, olive trees is the ideal place to relax and sunbath…

Nearby the village of Paulhan, with grocer, chemist, butcher and café. On the way to Pézenas, six kilometres from Le Cayrat, Lézignan la Cèbe (Cèbe means 'onions' in the old language), you will find a grocer, butcher, chemist and during the summer, fruit and vegetable stalls along the main road.

GUEST REVIEW

Lovely, welcoming and quiet. We loved the charming location that Monique and Jacques have created in the old winery buildings. Their location is perfect for exploring all the sites in the area. You can follow our travels on www.gingerandnutmeg.com. We plan to visit again!
